Therefore, I took it upon myself to make sure we didn’t miss them again & booked the date with my Mum. Luckily, the sunshine was on our side & was shining brightly in the morning.
Brightly coloured Delphiniums & Cornflowers surrounded us as soon as we stepped on the path. It was bloomin’ beautiful (if you excuse the pun!).
There were loads of bees & butterflies flying around, enjoying the sun & getting their daily flower fix. We even caught a glimpse of a Hummingbird Hawk-moth!
The Real Flower Petal Confetti Company are the UK’s original natural confetti growers & their flower fields bloom every Summer. After the open season, the flower petals are harvested & left to dry in the natural air, before being sold for use in weddings & other special occasions.
In addition, the confetti is great for the environment as it’s biodegradable. The Real Flower Petal Confetti Company also now grows Roses, Wildflowers, Hydrangeas & Lavender because the demand for eco-friendly confetti has become so great.
Our favourites were the purples as they were so striking & stood out, as well as, the pale pink & blue flowers because they were simply so pretty!
There is only a short window – just over one week to be precise! – to see these flower fields, so make sure you don’t miss them!
To celebrate 20 years of the company, they had even planted a Union Jack Flower field & it’s own viewing platform.
There were even stalls at the gate to purchase bunches of flowers & a small cafe with plenty of chairs around.
I’m so glad we didn’t miss the flower fields in bloom this year, it was certainly a slight to behold!
