Located within a 30 minute drive from White Cross Bay was another Lake District bucket list location: Ullswater and National Trust’s Aira Force waterfalls. Which is where we spent our New Year’s Day.

Another New Year? Another weekend away! This time in the stunning Lake District, Cumbria.
For Dave’s birthday in December, I booked us in for a long weekend during April at the Beckside Rest Log Cabin in Limefitt Park at the Lake District, Cumbria.
As I mentioned in my Birthday Adventure post back in July, Dave’s birthday falls on 25th December. Which makes it rather difficult to properly celebrate. This year, however, I was determined to give him an early birthday to remember! So, together with two of our best friends, we headed to London.
In September this year, Dave and I joined some of his family on a long weekend to Ribadesella in Spain.
When Christmas comes around, my boyfriend and I like to go all out; this year was no exception and Dave and I are pretty impressed with our efforts.
