Dave and I recently bought our first house – yay, us! Because of this and having a garden, Dave’s parents’ dog came to stay for the weekend. Considering they had let us stay at theirs whilst saving for a deposit, we felt they definitely deserved a break!! It’s a film we all know and love. Combining romance, drama, racing and humour, this film oozes warmth and good feeling. Dave & I were meant to be spending a week at Newport in Pembrokeshire, Wales this year. However, due to an exciting development in our lives, we decided postpone the trip until next year. But to make things worse – as I was already sad to not be visiting a place that is incredibly close to my heart – my birthday was during that week.
