My friend and I have been trying to do different activities on our regular catch ups this year. Earlier in Summer, we went for a delicious Cocktail Afternoon Tea at Malmaison Hotel in Birmingham and the other weekend, we spent a relaxing afternoon at the Cotswolds Hotel & Spa. Every year, we head over to The Angel Inn Hotel at Pershore in Worcestershire for their Bonfire Night and Fireworks event and every time, it’s excellent. This year – yep, you guessed it! – was no different.
Dave and I looked after Pepper, Dave’s parents’ dog, in September and it was such a success, that we have had her stay with us again recently! Every time we do, we talk about getting fitter but never actually do anything about it. Until now… We’ve decided to hike up Mount Snowdon next year! And we’ve made it our mission to get ready for it by doing a series of hill climbs and long walks; starting with the Cleeve Hill Circular in Gloucestershire! In order to explore some of our new local area and give Pepper a good walk, we headed out to the Cotswold village of Winchcombe and long-barrow, Belas Knap, armed with the National Trails Walk Guidelines and Map. Whilst living in Bredon, Dave and I often ventured out and explored the Cotswold village with his parent’s dog, Pepper. Here’s the photo diary from one of our late Summer walks.
