Birthday Fun at Ross-on-Wye Golf Club
On the 20th July, I turned the grand ol’ age of 25 and to celebrate, Dave planned a fun day of golf and walking in the gorgeous sunshine.
Dave is an avid golfer and I have been wanting to take some sport-type photographs for a while, therefore, with the sun shining brightly it was the perfect day for it. After a full English breakfast, we headed to the Ross-on-Wye Golf Club for a round of 9 holes. The course is absolutely beautiful, with the greens looking fresh and the scenery being stunning. Dave enjoyed playing and I enjoyed the walk, though definitely intend to go again to improve on the action shots!
Afterwards, we stopped for a drink at the Moody Cow Pub which, again, was lovely; the glass of Prosecco I enjoyed went down an absolute treat! We then headed to the Forest of Dean’s Sculpture Trail but due to the heat and extensive walk around the golf course, we didn’t get to see as many sculptures as originally hoped for. We do plan to revisit some other time though as the Forest of Dean is a great place to go, especially on a nice day!
The evening was then spent watching films on our new TV and eating Dominos with glasses of Prosecco; it was the perfect end to a perfect day.
All in all, I had a splendid 25th Birthday at Ross-on-Wye and owe a humongous thank you to my boyfriend for making it so great.
