Gloucester Quays Victorian Christmas Market
Twinkly lights, mulled drinks, interesting stalls, delicious foods and general Festive merriment; who doesn’t love a Christmas Market?!
This year, my friend and I ventured over to Gloucester Quays to visit the Victorian Christmas Market and what a wonderful time we had. Everything smelt and looked incredible – only wish we could have bought everything!
There were a variety of things being sold from alcohol to cheese to art to clothes and all the stall owners were friendly and eager to talk. Nikki and I bought a few bits and pieces as gifts but also ourselves – who can resist Bailey’s Fuffle, flavoured cheeses and game pie?!
Things became even more special when the night drew in and the lights came on. Christmas decorations and fairy lights were everywhere and the Victorian costumes were ace! The carousel, ice rink and ferris wheel also added an extra touch of fun to the day.
It was a magical Christmas market and one we’ll definitely be visiting again next year.
