Here are some of the photographs from Katie’s wonderful baby shower.
The amazing cookies & cream cake from The Pinwheel Cakery, it tasted delicious!
Decorate Nappies to Help the Parents Through Sleepless Nights.
Game 1 – ‘Be in the Mum-To-Be’s Shoes’. One person from each team
race waddle against each other to the end of the garden, with a balloon up their top (or holding if it won’t fit!) and a ping-pong ball between their knees, making sure it doesn’t drop. The first team that have all their members back to the start are the wins!
Game 2 – Pass the Dummy. Pass the dummy from one end of your team’s line to the other. But here’s the twist: pass it along using a string of spaghetti that can only be held with the mouth! If the dummy drops, you then have to start all over again from the first team member. First team to get their dummy to the end of the line wins!
Game 4 – Bobbing for Dummies. Using your mouth (or a piece of spaghetti in this instance!), grab a dummy sweet floating in the water. The first team to have all it’s members with sweets, wins!
Game 5 – Guess the Bump Size. Using a piece of string, try to guess the size of the mum-to-be’s bump. Then the person with the closest length is the winner!
Game 6 – Charades, Baby Shower Style. The classic game of charades, but using words and phrases relating to pregnancy and babies!
Game 7 – Head Drawing. Once given a word, you have to draw the item on a piece of paper on top of your head. It’s a lot harder than it sounds, trust me! But it is also hilarious to see what comes out at the end!
Katie’s baby shower was very funny and everyone had an absolutely wonderful time. But most important of all, I think it’s safe to say that Katie enjoyed herself too!
